Yesterday was the day I looked forward too. My friends and I had been planning to meet up and do a little bit of catching up at Sunway Pyramid. These friends of mine, are the one whom I haven’t been seeing for a long time..like 7 years of long time. Gosh, that makes me look old..
So, we met up. The three of us had a hugging session in front of Sunway. Typical TKCians. Oh, forgot to mention, their names are Idora Zamri (DOT) and Cyantiah Salleh (CYAN- pronounced as ‘San’). Our Linda Kama didn’t get to join us because she had some other things to keep up to. Hopefully we’ll get to see her in our next reunion (if there is any,..Hey, sure there is!!!)
Well, we had our big lunch at the Waffle World (thx Cyan for introducing that place to us..super sedap, ok.. ). We shared a waffle (since every1 dah full with our main course)..Konon mcm romantic habis share food together..ahaks..

At first, it was a little bit awkward. We have grown up so I didn’t quite sure of wut to say. I didn’t even sure of how to act. But then, it came quite naturally. I should say that I was so glad to have noticed that these friends of mine hadn’t changed much, especially in terms of the ‘kegilaan’. They still snapped pictures in front of the mirrors, snapped pictures of us in fluffy shawls, laughing out loud in the cinema as though we owned the place, and many more. It was a great fun.
We watched ‘The Confession of A Shopaholic’, very funny movie. I swear there must had some tears in my eyes. Ahaks. Although it was some movie with very hilarious jokes, but I did believe that there was always a hairline of advice and moral value; which in this story, not a hairline but many-many hairlines… it reminded me why I had never applied for credit card since I have a career. It wasn’t because I couldn’t afford for one, but it was the addiction that scared the hell out of me.
Frankly, I always have a good control about my shopping. Mean, no ladies hate shopping, ok. Every woman in the world loves it. Some love shopping because they love labels, some do because they want to look good, some because of they have so much money that their husband earns and so much free time, some love shopping because it makes them feel good, some just do for a little need, but basically, we love shopping.
As for me, I don’t shopping at Versace, or Hugo Boss or Prada, or Jimmy Choo (well, I did manage to slip my feet into a pair of RM6700 Jimmy Choo high heels once…buat puas hati je..), or Tod’s, or Salvatore Ferragamo or Zegna or Aigner.
But, hey, I do own some of the branded things, like my Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Shine which cost me RM380. I do own a pair of Hugo Boss sunglasses given by my super kind boyfriend. And the most expensive stuff I have ever had is the watch by Charriol Philippe, truly amazing and genuine, cost about RM5k or RM6k.
But I am not good in taking care of things. People, yes, I take care of people pretty much amazingly, but not things. There are scratches on my Hugo Boss sunny, so is my 4-figure cost of watch. So, wut is the point of buying expensive stuff when at the end I break them?
So, except for make ups (which now I love Bobbi Brown’s blushers, Christian Dior’s Diosnow foundation and Lancome’s glossy lipstics), wut I do is shopping at more affordable shops, like Vincci, Nose, Carlo Rino and Charles & Keith for bags and shoes, Audrey and Lilian for bras, Ladylike for jeans, MNG, Topshop and Voir for tops. Sumtimes, I even go to Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari at Jalan TAR for cheaper stuff. Ahaks.

By the way, thx a lot to my beloved Dot and Cyan for accompanying me to buy a beautiful purple dress. I hope we’ll do this again soon. Maybe this time, Redbox!!
