LOVE STORY...
We were both young when I first saw you (WE were not young, it was juz me..hehe)
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air
See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns (crap, i wasnt wearing a gown..)
I see you make your way through the crowd (in holiday villa subang??)
And say hello, little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet (of course he did..huhu)
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run (yes, let's run sumwhere..please....)
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
So I sneak out to the garden to see you (well, i sneak out almost everyday for you darling)
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew (of coz we keep quiet. how else do u think we survive the r'ship for 5 f***king years??)
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me (exactly!! why cant people understand us???)
I was begging you please don't go and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real (it is difficult, kan darling?? huhu)
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes (juz keep holding on..)
Oh oh
I got tired of waiting (frankly, sumtimes..)
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading (sumtimes u are taking too much time..not sure how long i can ever wait..)
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said
Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring (this part, of coz it HASNT HAPPENED..yet i gez?)
And said, marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh, oh, oh, oh
'Cause we were both young when I first saw you (seriously, WE were NOT young..it's juz me..ahaks)
P/S: isnt it funny how some love songs can really suit our life, esp our love life?? DAMN.

WHEN YOU ARE 20
What happen when i was 20??
When i was 20, i was stunningly wild, weirdly attractive, careless and stupid.
When i was 20, i was studying in my first year of B.Ed TESL twinning programme.
When i was 20, i got the news that i will continue study in College of St Mark & St John (Now known as University College Plymouth St mark & St John), which was my first choice of place to study.
When i was 20, i wrote a sweet malay poem (yang agak jiwang karat) for my boyfriend and it came out in REMAJA magazine.
When i was 20, i spent 2 nights at my boyfriend's mum's house and it turned out she liked me dearly.
When i was 20, i broke up with him.
When i was 20, i spent most of the first half year chasing guys whom i knew i might not get them anyway.
When i was 20, i dated the most romantic guy who happened to be my friend's ex. (i swear i didnt seduce him or anything, it was just my weird charming way that got into him).
When i was 20, i had so much fun with this guy and it was the best 2 months i have ever spent with a man at this point.
When i was 20, i hoped for this particular guy to celebrate my birthday together with him, but instead, he left me at the food court ALONE.
When i was 20, for the very first time, i got dumped.
When i was 20, i got tired of all of these.
When i was 20, i decided to forget about guys and enjoy my single life to the max
When i was 20, i decided to have fun at lounge Holiday Villa Subang to get rid of all the messy stuff in my mind.
Suddenly, when i was 20,
THE NIGHT I BECAME 20,
THE NIGHT I DECIDED TO LIVE A WONDERFUL SINGLE LIFE,
THERE HE APPEARED...
Gosh, out of many many nights.. it's that night..
how irony??
so, when i was 20, i let myself to fall in love the hundredths times, assuming that it wont last long (like before).
When i was 20, i realized, it's more than wut i think.
When i was 20, i knew it.
I KNEW I FELL IN LOVE
AGAIN..
thank God. however hard life had been,
however stucked i had got myself into,
however difficult to deal with the surroundings,
it's last until today.

REUNION
IT WASN’T A PLANNED THING..
Fine! It was planned. By right, it was ME who planned everything (which has always been my job to plan things, and as most people know, I luv to plan things ahead..sumtimes waaayyyy too ahead..)
At first, we came across the idea just because we missed everyone so much. We felt like everyone had been drifted away with work and others. Initially, it was just a simple plan..jumpe for makan and that’s it.
And at first, I was the one who didn’t want to get involve in this get-together thing for some stupid reasons. I had so many things in mind, so many problems that I didn’t think i wanted people to know, I had relationship and bf problems which I didn’t want my married friends to interfere because I didn’t think they would understand.
But frankly, how stupid I was to think the way I had thought. I had known these girls as long as I could remember and during those periods of time, they had been the best buddies in the whole world. How could I thought that they would not understand when in actual fact, they were the ONLY people who could understand everything about me and my problems???
And I thanked God I changed my mind and met up with the girls. It was brief, but long enough to do all the catching up, laughing and eating, having a whole lot of fun. We did those things as though we were doing it together now. It was nothing strange and weird. Though two of us were married, but nothing had completely changed, and I love everything about that.
Only God knew how excited I was. I had been talking about it for days, I knew my house was small, but I wasn’t worry because the girls were not the fussy type. Not that I didn’t care about their places to sleep and all. I had gotten ready everything, and I knew just how to please them.
Huda was the first one to arrive (and Eqin too, but she went back to her mother-in-law’s house). We had dinner @ Nando’s and did a little shopping at Vincci and Jusco. She met my new housemate, Zila and they blended well. So, I had nothing to worry about because by that, I knew my new housemate would also be able to mix up with my other girls.
Our beauty sleep was knocked down by an early morning text from Eqin. I knew how eager she wanted to hang out with us, but early in the morning?? Gosh, she must be sick, but I did try my very best to pick her up at the earliest time I could. As the result, Eqin said that we both looked like we suffered from hang over last night and still were.
Then, we picked up our beautiful Sudiana. Her handphone was out of battery so we had to wait for her for a long time at the Putra LRT Setiawangsa. When she arrived, the noise level rose up and the laughter was more often. When the four of us together, it was like the old time again…(and the memories came back again….huhuhu)
We went home to wash up a little and to wait for my housemate, Zila to came back from her ponteng kerja.. (hahaha) I picked Ila up from her workplace and hoping that the girls would be ready by the time I got back (of course they wouldn’t).
I gave a little more time for them and we went ahead to Pavilion. We parked the beloved Persona at Lot 10 (due to the expensive parking rate at Pavi). But suddenly Huda was not feeling well. She insisted to stay at the surau while we were doing our shopping. Our concern heart said we wouldn’t want to leave her there alone. We did our little shopping around Lot 10 and peaked on her every chance we had. I guess, that was the good thing about true friends. Huda must be so touched by our concerns.
Finally, when she had gotten better, we crossed the road and rain to Pavilion. We loved our shoes dearly that we put them off and walked through rain in bare foot. What a funny scene.

We did a little shopping and window-shopping at Parkson, Christian Dior, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Charles and Keith, Nose, and many more. Finally, the good part came, which was to chose a place to dine in. guess what, choosing a place to dine with these girls could be so difficult and took the longest time. As I once said, “choosing a place to eat with u girls, is like choosing a man to marry in this 21st century. It could take years……..”
We finally agreed to eat at TGI Friday. They gave us a warm welcome and gave us the greatest table service; as though we paid extra for that (I knew it was because of the hot babes). Our beautiful Yuni chipped in at this point with her new boyfriend, Hakeem. We had fun eating and chit-chatting. The old sweet time came back again. Nothing seemed to had changed. Huda still liked to share her food with others (no wonder she’s so skinny), Eqin still picked up the best menu, Sudi still the one to finish up the food (and her alasan was that she tak sanggup tgk makanan tu nangis.. huhu lame…)
Finally, when we wanted to ask for the bill, Eqin made a little toast. “This dinner is for Julie, because we wanted to celebrate her joy for continuing her Masters..” I was touched, and I hugged everyone (except for Hakeem lah of coz, kan..). They even made me a little poem that almost got the tears in my eyes. Weren’t they the best girls in my life???

Finally, we headed to the Greenbox Sungei Wang, which once placed the birthday celebration for our beloved Huda and that someone. Frankly, it was the fun I had never had for such a long time. We sang like nobody’s business.
Finally, our bed awaited. No one stayed up that night due to our tiredness. Next morning, after the Subuh prayer, everyone continued to sleep under I woke them up again to grab our breakfast. Then, I dropped everyone at their destinations (KL Sentral and Putra LRT). It was just me and Sudi heading home to Johor.
We were too busy catching up and talking while we missed the R & R at Ayer Keroh. And as I dropped her off to her hubby, my car suddenly felt so quiet and I was alone again.
As I said, it was brief, but long enough to give me such good memories. Hopefully this reunion will take place anytime soon. I miss u girls badly now.

NUMBER '5'
Why number ‘5’ can be so weird??
Firstly, it’s because it’s a middle number between 1 to 10. if you round it off, 5 is nearer to 10 (that’s the Mathematical rule). But seriously, dont you count more numbers to go from 5 to 10 than 5 to 1?? Durgh! I really wanna draw the number line here but it’ws not like it’s going to change the whole Mathematical thingy, rite??
Secondly, look at the coins..i mean, the malaysian coin. Why is 5 cent smaller than 1 cent and 50 cent is bigger than RM1 coin?? I know we are no longer using the 1 cent and RM1 coins, but didnt this get to your mind?? Gosh, isnt that weird??
When I asked my students to memorize the multiplication table, my year 2 kids can remember table 5 before they can memorize table 3 and 4. isn’t that weird? Maybe because it’s much simpler, but still, 5 is bigger than 4 and 3, shouldn’t it be more difficult??
20s is a very striking moment. Everyone at their 20s is enjoying themselves. But when you reach 25, things can get ugly. U are in the middle. I mean, you wouldn’t even care that you are 24 and keep on enjoying your teenage life, but suddenly when you are 25 in the new year, u are stucked in the middle of adulthood. Pressures come like rains, and the next thing you know, you are having a middle age crisis, HUH!!
But please, it’s the millennium years. Why does age such an important issue?? You can do wutever you want at whatever age you are.
Right??
