MAHSURI------'TAKDE PERASAAN' (favourite phrase of the day)

lepas balik dari kursus bina insan, there was not much of differences in me. TAKDE PERASAAN dgn kursus nih..i mean, dah byk kali dah pg these kind of courses, so, cara pendekatan pun sama. it wont work on me, of course. lebih penat adelah.. muke cikgu2 sume seposen je..muka penat and muka tak bersemangat. of course, kena kerja 12 days straight, and kena pegi kursus yg mcm kursus utk budak sekolah menengah.. tido and rehat tak cukup. sape2 pun tak kan boleh larat dengan beban kerja mcm nih.

hari ni and smlm, aku pg sekolah dgn muke blur. empty. KAK NANI ckp muke TAKDE PERASAAN. ahaks. mmg pun. minggu ni mmg minggu mencabar skit. sbb aku masuk kelas without record book, without any planning. masuk kelas je, suruh budak bukak buku and buat latihan. adelah gak skit2 P$P, tp very little. one of student, IZZATI LIYANA asked, "teacher ok tak? you look sick." budak kecik pun paham perassan org tua. entah kenapa org tua sendiri susah nk paham org tua yg lain.
so, nk hilangkan tension, kitorg pun kuar pg tgk teater MAHSURI kat ISTANA BUDAYA lakonan pelakon terkenal VANIDAH IMRAN. ikutkan hati, dah penat sgt sbnrnyer, so mmg rase mcm tak nk pg, tp sbb dah beli tiket, syg pulak nk burn kan mcm tu je. after all, dah lame tak layan teater, so pg jelah.

teater best, sound effect dia lah yg paling dikagumi.. giler dahsyat mase MAHSURI nk kena bunuh tu.. naik gerun pun ade. tp lakonon agak mengecewakan. even VANIDAH IMRAN punye acting pun agak kurang menonjol. jalan cerita ade gaya walaupun kurang catchy. overall, puas hati lah jugak. entah, tibe2 mcm TAKDE PERASAAN tgk teater nih. maybe sbb mcm2 kot dlm otak nih.

guess who i bumped into kat ISTANA BUDAYA? terserempak dengan SAZLYNI. tak sangka terjumpe dia kat sane. TUHAN dengar rupenya isi hati ni yg nk jumpe with my old friends kat sane. twe hugged like hell, then did a little catch up. balik pun dengan dia, sbb malas nk tunggu geng2 my school. diorg sume nk tgk and tangkap gambar dgn pelakon2. i'm not the type yg go hunting for actresses, TAKDE PERASAAN kat pelakon2 nih. so, i went off je with saz.

byk bende gak lah yg di'catch-up'kan. but nothing new. i'm glad she's happy with her life. i told few things about my unfortunate life. kurang skit beban kat hati. she ask abt PAKCIK. i said he's ok. tak de plan nk kawen pun, sbb nak kena concentrate on studies dulu. dia pun tgh busy dgn business2. she said, we made a great couple. and tak sangka dah 5 tahun. lame gile..

ahaks, mcm lah dia sorang je yg terperanjat with that '5' figure. even myself pun kadang2 tak percaya. kalau kawen maybe anak dah tiga. hahaha.tp, jodoh kitorg lmbt lagi kot.. byk sgt halangan. like i said, enjoylah life dulu, baru fikir2 benda lain. right now, i really wanna enjoy my life to the max. TAKDE PERASAAN nk kawen lagi.
khamis ni KJ nk dtg spend the night kat my house. sbnrnyer, she has got something to settle. tp i take the opportunity nk hang out with her. maybe nk tgk wayang and dinner 2 KLCC.. not sure yet, sbb ILI tak dpt confirm whether dia dtg ker tak. maybe eqin will be joining. gosh, mcm syok je. tibe2 tak sabar nk hari khamis.

KURSUS BINA INSAN

COURSE: KURSUS BINA INSAN (PERKEMBANGAN STAF DAN
LATiHAN DALAM PERKHIDMATAN)
DATE: 24TH APRIL TO 26TH APRIL 2009
VENUE: INSTITUT LATIHAN ISLAM MALAYSIA (ILIM)
PARTICIPANTS: TEACHERS AND STAFF OF SK WAGNSA MAJU ZON R10
CORE AGENDA: 1) PENDEKATAN PELAKSANAAN ISLAM HADHARI
2) MENGENAL KELEBIHAN MANUSIA
3) PERIBADI UNGGUL MINDA ULUL ALBAB
OTHER AGENDA: 1) IKTIBAR KEHIDUPAN
2) WASIAT IMAN
3) AZAM JANJI DAN PELAN TINDAKAN
4) RIADHAH
5) QIAMULLAIL

POST-MORTEM:
Accommodation and food were fairly good. Tentative of the programme was adequate. Fairly enough time to rest. Good agendas given. Motivators were enthusiastic and committed. Good participation and cooperation from the participants.

PERSONAL OPINION:
Many of the participants went for the course for the sake of their ‘jobs’. It was a very busy week, with monthly test coming around and many paper sheets to mark, not to mention other non-academic things. So, not many looked forward for the course. However, because all of the participants had been working with each other enjoyably, they had overcome their tiredness with a little laugh. It was a tough weekend, but they went through it right to the end. For me, the participants (most of them) had shown an unbelievable bond of relationship between co-workers which I had never seen anywhere before.

P/S: The tears that came out during some of the slots were pure, I knew it. But it does not mean everyone will change right now. Some changes need time and need motivation. I think it’s just a normal human nature.

JOY

I waited for my best girl’s call for days. She mentioned that she might be coming to KL for a course sometime this week, so I got myself prepared.

She finally texted me with the great news. She stayed at Adamson Hotel next to KL International Hotel. I will be going for a course in Bangi tomorrow, so we planned to meet today.

God knew how happy I was to see her today. For the past few weeks, I had always prayed to get my strength back. And God had answered me, sending my best girl all the way from Kuantan. Our last reunion last month didn’t seem enough. Lumrah manusia, tak pernah cukup dengan pemberian Tuhan.

We did some catching-up with some of the latest news about our lives and our friends’ while getting stucked in the traffic jammed (it is universally knowledged that KL traffic is the WORST). We laughed at some times, and getting serious at others. The high-pitched of our voices were undefeated. If others heard us, they might think that it was the sound from the traffic. I became the real me again.

We had big dinner @ Nando’s. Then, we did a little window-shopping at Sogo and Jln Tar. Since both of us were big fan of Christian Dior now, so we spent most of the time at the CD booth in Sogo, checking out things, trying things, putting things on our faces, and not to forget, snapping photos. Ahaks. It was like old time.

When it had come to the curfew time, I almost told her to play truant and not to go back for the course. I almost asked her to stay and spend the night with me. But thank God the ‘civilised’ part of me had managed to kiss her good bye with big smile and a big hope to see her again very soon.

It was brief, but so much it brought joy to my life for a little while. I love you to bits, EQIN.

the joy continued till the next day, but she spoilt it by saying that she would only go to the doctor to confirm about it later at night..gosh, that's like 175 years more, ok!!! i couldnt wait..the feeling was just so overwhelming. ahaks.

Laugh Out Loud

I had a bloody busy month. Oh, actually, monthS. Haven’t had an off-Saturdays for months. Workload, gosh, extremely mountaining!. I felt so lazy to finish up my work, thus it led to mountains of postponed jobs. At one point, I was so stressed up that I could cry out of nowhere. As in, I was driving, and suddenly I cried. Bodoh tak?? Really, it was a sign of hypertension.

The boyfriend of mine (or should I say man-friend?? Huhu, sounds like a puppy..owh, pakcik..that’s wut I called him sumtimes…) is a kind of guy who always makes jokes, but I asked him to stop teasing me (which was what he always did when we were together) because I couldn’t laugh at any jokes at that moment. Well, actually, WOULDN’T laugh at all!! I asked him to just sit and listen to wutever babbling I wanted to say and to just agree with me. I asked him to stop debating with me about some political issues because I didn’t care less. I was so depressed that I laid myself on the bed, hugging my bantal busuk for few hours and that was it. No music, no intention to get a nap, no answering the phone calls. Nothing.

So, Pakcik noticed my depression (I guess). So, wut he brought me to The Curve. Frankly, I already lived in KL for quite sumtime, but this is the place I have never been to. There’s a Cineleisure sumwhere there and he straight away bought us movie tickets for Fast and Furious 4 at the Platinum Movie Suites. It was RM40 per seat, ok. Giler mahal. I have just gotten my backdated gaji and all which total up tp RM6k but I still considered RM40 for a movie ticket was nonsense. But Pakcik said, it’s a little treat for me.

When we went in, there was internet, drinks and Osim’s massage chair which I LOVE very very very much. I have never liked to be massaged at, but this Osim chair was such a turn-on. So relaxing.

Then, we watched the movie. Of course the seats were spacious, fancy and all. But it didn’t stroke my eyes. I have been to Gold Class and Premier Class few times before. Biase je sbnrnyer.. Nothing so high class sgt pun. It was just the massage chair that got into my mind.

Then, we had our dinner and walked around that place. I felt happy and clam for a while. Pakcik listened to every single bit of what I was saying. He knew how we liked to do movie reviewing, which was wut we did. I wanted Baskin Robbins’ ice-cream which I haven’t had for quite some time. It was my first BR in 5 YEARS!!!

Then Pakcik said, ‘I tell u wut, let’s catch midnite movie pulak. We’ll watch KNOWING’.

Wut?? My god, I haven’t done movie marathon for quite sum time, especially with this man I was standing with. But I declined because I was too tired from the jogging and aerobics earlier in the evening.

The thing is, how often u get a man who would do many things just to cheer u up? I didn’t get it at all, not until the last 5 years. He does things in a spontaneous calming way, no romantic cliché’ like big bouquet of roses or jiwang karat wordings in a card. He is the most annoying guy I have ever met. Extremely annoying and menyakitkan hati. Seriously, no kidding. We can fight like nobody’s business.

But he’s my shoulder to cry. He’s my best friend. I love him dearly. I don’t understand why God is making our relationship so difficult.
Everyone has done some mistakes, so do us. But we improve, a lot. why relationship seems easier to other people but not to us. I guess God works in His mysterious ways.

But I prepare, I prepare if this is not the one. Well, I will cry for weeks of course, and I might do some stupid things, but I prepare. I have seen many broken marriages, so I believe there’s always an ending. What I am not prepared is to date other guy, or to make other relationship. I don’t thing I have the guts to do that. Maybe not now.

The thing is, I am quite happy now. I mean, sumtimes of course there are things that get into your mind, but I like the way I live my life now. I like the way my relationship works. If getting to another step means breaking my parents’ heart, making some people unhappy, and giving other people another point to gossip about, why should you take another step??

While everyone is making judgement about my relationship, I don’t give a damn. I have my own way to settle my things. It might work, it might not, but it is none of other people’s business. If it works, you may pass, but if it doesn’t, be my guess to laugh at me out loud.

MY BLOODY CAREER

Seriously,
Whoever says that teachers are the easiest job on earth,
Just because they work ‘half day’ and have their days off during school holidays,
They are totally wrong!!

To become a teacher is always my ambition.
Since I was a kid, I always pretended to be a teacher while playing with my neighbours.
I also had chalks and blackboards at the back of my house so that I could play as a teacher anytime I wanted.
I marked every books in my house (including storybooks), konon2 mcm jadi cikgu lah.. With red pens that I stole from my dad’s project case.
When I entered UTM for civil engineering course, I knew straight away that it wasn’t the
right place for me.
When I when for the interview, I knew that I did very well that they had to accept me for the course (ahaks, perasan)

But frankly, teachers at this millennium are no longer solitary educators.
They are also secretary, treasurers of some societies, and project managers of certain projects who need to attend meetings.
They need to fill up thousands of form, eg: PLBS forms (god knows what the f*** is this)
They need to make reports of certain things carried out in school and outside.
They are the emcees for any occasion held in schools,
They are the judges for any competitions,
They are the nurses when students fell down and got bleeding nose,
They also are chef during Sambutan hari kanak-kanak.
They are businesswomen to sell things to parents and students to collect extra money for Badan Kebajikan Guru & Kakitangan (BKGK)
They are lawyers to defend themselves or their friends who got accused of causing bruise on a student’s hand because the kid didn’t complete the homework,
They are accountants who needs to count students’ mark during each test and examination (total of 6 for the whole year) and rearranging their classes for next year,
They are also maids who sweep the students’ classroom and rearranging the chairs and tables.
They are deco consultants who in-charge of classroom’s walls and curtains.

And
Do you know how many programmes are being carried out in schools??
If you are a parent, or about to be, or planning to be, here are the things you need to remember in mind so that you won’t simply blame the TEACHERS when things go wrongs at some point.

- latihan sukan
- latihan sukaneka
- saringan sukan
- raptai hari sukan
- raptai hari sukaneka
- Kejohanan sukan dan sukaneka peringkat sekolah
- Kejohanan sukan peringkat daerah, negeri dan kebangsaan (if your school is selected)
- Sambutan maulidur rasul
- Kem bestari solat
- Kem motivasi tahun 6
- Kelas tambahan tahun 5 dan 6
- Kelas Nadi DBKL
- Mesyuarat PIBG
- Kursus dalam latihan (minimum of 7 days a year)
- Sambutan hari guru
- Sambutan hari kanak-kanak
- Sambutan hari perayaan (deepavali, tahun baru cina dan aidilfitri)

- Peperiksaan UPSR
- Pemeriksaan buku tulis (mengikut tahun)
- Sambutan hari kebangsaan
- Kursus here, kursus there, meeting here, meeting there..bla bla bla bla

Guess wut, for each and every function we held in school, there’s always paper works and documentations that need to be done. So, just imagine wut a bizarre amount of workload we are talking here. Despite that, we still take extra job to earn extra income because we think we are underpaid. We do tuition in tuition centres and school, we also do home tutoring. Yet, we face problems like pending payments, gaji tuition tak masuk, wutever wutever…

So, please lah people. Other than you need to respect teachers because they educate your kids, and because they have educated YOU to become who you are now (teachers, accountants, doctors, wutever wutever..), please DO NOT look down to teachers as though they are the nastiest job on earth. Please DO NOT leave your kids in schools and blame the teachers when you kid fell down or when your kid does not do well in test. We have 40 children to take care in each class and we teach 4 classes every day. We have to mark 160 books every day. For God sake, how many kids you have??? Like… two???

I think teachers may not earn as much as you are, but hello, most teachers are degree holders too. In fact, teachers are the most community who continue pursuing their higher education. I have seen accountants and doctors who just have given up about getting a higher qualification. And guess wut, at least, during this recession year and the turndown of the world’s economy which eventually has proven to affect Malaysian’s economy too, we don’t have to worry about being fired by our boss to minimize number of employees, or about whether or not our salary will be cut down. At least we are pretty sure that we can sleep soundly at night while others might have terror every time they watch Wall Street at CNN.

Guess wut, I might not have ‘datuk’ship, or lieutenant’ship’, or ‘engineer’ship, or even ‘accountant’ship, but the ‘cikgu’ title will stucked in my name like…forever. And I am bloody proud of that.
